Keep up with Roadhaven Resort’s Summer projects and temporary closures. In addition to the projects listed on this page we’ll focus on completing the following projects and general maintenance tasks featured at towards the bottom of this page.

BELL TOWER - IDAHO GATE

BELL TOWER SIGN

The Idaho Bell Tower holds a special place at Roadhaven Resort. Its majestic silhouette stands as a beacon, guiding residents and visitors to Roadhaven. The light-up sign adorning both sides of the Bell Tower will play a vital role in enhancing its visibility and allure.

As we eagerly await a permit from the city of Apache Junction to proceed with this renovation, we’re reminded of the Bell Tower’s significance and the need to preserve its integrity. This restoration project is not just about ensuring the functionality of the signage but also about reaffirming the Bell Tower’s status as a celebrated staple welcoming residents home. It represents our commitment to honoring the resort’s rich history and ensuring that future generations can continue to enjoy its timeless beauty and significance.

AMENITIES

DOG PARK (SMALL DOGS)

We’re replacing the fencing at the small dog park to ensure safety and allow maintenance access, thereby eliminating unwanted insects and critters.

PATIO CHAIRS

START DATE: April/May 2024

Status:

We’ll re-strap the patio chairs to ensure safety and quality for usage, while also improving the overall appearance of the common area patio furniture.

PICKLEBALL FENCE + SOUND

START DATE: April – July 2024

Status:

During April and May, we’ll raise and securely support the Pickleball fencing. Then, in June and July, we’ll attach sound panels to the fencing to reduce noise volume.

INFRASTRUCTURE

ACTIVITIES STORAGE

We’re adding a storage unit south of the Hospitality and Information Center. Giving our Activities Director a centrally located designated area near the Rec Hall to store equipment and supplies. We are waiting on a permit from the city of Apache Junction.

REC HALL DOORS

START DATE: August/September 2024

Status:

100%

We’re replacing two existing doors with ones that match those of the Fitness Center and Billiards. The current doors are no longer in production, and replacement parts are unavailable for purchase.

YUMA ROOM ROOF

START DATE: May 2024

Status:

100%

We are replacing the flat roof membrane covering the Yuma Room due to wear and tear from aging.

GENERAL RESORT MAINTENANCE

GENERAL PROJECTS

START DATE: April – September 2024

Status:

As we transition into the summer months, Roadhaven Resort is gearing up for a series of maintenance projects to enhance the overall experience for our residents. From upgrading the golf path curbing to smoothing the entrance of the retention area with concrete work, our focus is on ensuring safety and aesthetic appeal across the resort grounds. Additionally, we’ll be undertaking various improvement initiatives, such as installing 1/3 of the ceiling tiles in the Rec Hall, rejuvenating the indoor therapy pool area, Repairing sections of the Phase I and II pool fence and replacing the projector screen (sw side) in the Rec Hall. Alongside these efforts, we’re committed to refreshing the landscape and painting some of the communal areas to maintain a vibrant and inviting atmosphere. Finally, addressing structural concerns, like replacing the Shuffleboard awning post and conducting repairs on the #7 bridge, demonstrates our dedication to ensuring a seamless and enjoyable stay for all our Residents and their guests.

We replaced 1/3 of the ceiling tiles last summer during the Rec Hall truss repairs and will replace 1/3 of the ceiling tiles this summer and 1/3 of the ceiling tiles next summer. We postponed replacing the ceiling tiles for several years by painting them, but eventually, replacement became necessary.
