Residents of Roadhaven operate a non-denomination church where participants find peace and fellowship through timely sermons and congregational singing.

The church’s mission is to glorify the Lord, teach biblical truths and provide a place of worship and Christian fellowship with friends and neighbors.

Church services, under the leadership of Reverend Arlan Hoskins and his wife, Denise, are held every Sunday morning from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. in the Recreation Hall, beginning the first Sunday in November and running through the last Sunday in March.  The service is run in a traditional non-denominational format where everyone is welcome.

Each service is followed by a time of fellowship with coffee and cookies provided by members of the congregation.

Under the umbrella of the Roadhaven Church, there is a Men’s Bible Study and a Women’s Bible Study.  The Christian Fellowship group offers an opportunity for inspiration, fellowship and fun through a variety of interesting programs.

The church’s ministry is governed by a committee from the membership of the congregation under the leadership of a chairman and Worship Committee.  Individual ministries are conducted by volunteer chairmen.

Roadhaven Church has donated thousands of dollars yearly to local charities such as Apache Junction Food Bank, Genesis Project, Salvation Army, Hope for Women, CAAFA (Community Alliance Against Family Abuse), and Sunshine Acres.  The church has sponsored out of state charities including Disabled American Veterans, Cookson Hills Christian Home, Kid’s First Law Center, Wounded Warrior Project and Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes.

In addition, thousands of pounds of food have been donated to the local food bank.

The church is very active in supporting continuing education.  The church’s scholarship fund has been supported since 1992 by church members and the greater Roadhaven Resort community, generously providing over 200 college scholarships to Apache Junction High School students.

Roadhaven Church has contributed tens of thousands of dollars toward the purchase of chairs, risers, a grand piano, an organ, updates to the sound system and the décor of the Recreation Hall, which has benefited everyone in Roadhaven Resort.
