ANNOUNCEMENTS
CAYMAN GOLF STARTS MONDAY, NOVEMBER 18, 2024
Welcome back Cayman Golfers. Hope you all had a good summer. Since Veteran’s Day is Monday, November 11th, we will start Cayman on November 18th. Thank you, Veterans, for your service to our country! Also, the spouses left home alone to care for the family.
Cost is $1.00 per week plus $1.00 for the season for the “Hole in One” pot. The sign-up sheet is in the Golf Shop hallway. Please sign up by 12:00 noon on the Saturday before.
Cayman Golf will be played every Monday starting with the first tee time at 9:00 a.m. Tee time will be assigned by Sunday afternoon. We play a 4-person mixed scramble. Each golfer must use their tee shot on 2 holes, excluding hole #4. Hole #4 everyone will hit from the drop zone across the lake. It is a good way to meet new people. If you are interested or have questions, please call the Golf Shop, 480-982-4653.
Our Golf Shop Office will open for golf membership pre-sales from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on October 28th and 29th, and will open officially on November 4th, when the course opens.
The new rates will be:
Annual (seasonal) $405.00
Monthly $150.00
Punch Card $204.00
Cash, checks accepted. Credit cards accepted with added 4.5% fee.
Some type of membership (seasonal, monthly, punch card) is required to golf in any league. Avoid the rush and come see us on the 28th! (Be sure to bring your ID card.)
REMINDERS
It’s almost time for a new golf season and we’re looking forward to seeing you! We’d like to pass along a couple of reminders.
If you need a handicap flag for your cart this season, please remember to bring your handicap placard or documents for our files. If you currently have permanent information on file, no worries, we still have it. However, if your permit was temporary and/or has expired, or if it’s just a new condition, we’ll need new documents before we can issue a new flag.
The golf course is closed until early November for reseeding.
Since the golf course is closed, it is a good time to turn in all cart flags to the main office. If you left without returning your flag, please do so as soon as you return.
Flag color designation changes each season, and we will need to refurbish, or change the actual flag portion on the wooden pole.
