PHOENIX — In coordination with the Presidential proclamation, Governor Doug Ducey has ordered flags at all state buildings be lowered to half-staff immediately until sunset on October 22, 2021 to honor General Colin Powell.
Governor Ducey stated “Colin Powell’s passing is a great loss for our nation. He had a steadfast commitment to America and our national security, as a retired four-star general with 35 years of military service, White House National Security Advisor and Secretary of State. My prayers are with Powell’s wife, Alma, and his family.”
Individuals, businesses, and other organizations are encouraged to join in this tribute.
