Required - Resale Inspection Request

Attention Roadhaven Resort homeowners!

Are you gearing up to sell your Roadhaven home? Time is of the essence! Don’t wait another moment – act now and use our online Resale Inspection Request form to schedule your required resale inspection as soon as possible!

Here’s why it’s crucial: Our Architectural department is dedicated to conducting thorough resale inspections, focusing on the exterior of your home and property. These inspections aren’t just a formality – they’re mandatory according to our Rules and Regulations (below). They provide vital information for potential buyers to evaluate before sealing the deal.

By obtaining the resale inspection early, you empower buyers to make informed decisions, paving the way for a smoother and faster sale process. Waiting until the home is under contract can lead to unnecessary delays, as the title company or realtor may take time to arrange the inspection or the Architectural department may have homes to inspect before yours.

Take charge of your home sale journey! Whether you’re a homeowner or working with a real estate agent, don’t delay – You or your agent can submit your resale inspection request. Let’s streamline the process and ensure a seamless transition for both you and potential buyers. Act fast to avoid any unnecessary holdups and make your home sale a success!

The following definition is from the Architectural Rules and Regs:

  1. ResaleInspections and Certificates of Resale Inspection: Before any and all property sales – either private or public – are initiated, the listing lot owner (Seller) is required to obtain from the Architectural office a Resale Inspection of the property being offered/listed. A copy of the Certificate of Resale Inspection shall be signed by the Buyer and the Roadhaven General Manager, or Representative, then filed with the Architectural Office. Certificates of Resale Inspection remain viable for one (1) year from date signed. Note: No sale or transfer of property shall be complete without a prior Resale Certificate filed. Note: A $75.00 fee is assessed for Resale Inspections at time of application. In the event the property does not sell within one year, 30 days prior to the expiration date of the Certificate of Inspection, the homeowner may apply to have the existing Certificate of Resale extended, it will be updated for an additional year at no cost. Any material changes will require a new Certificate of Inspection and the standard fee will apply. This extension request may be applied for only once.  Approved 11/17/2021
