Friday's Resident Newsletter
It’s December, and the holiday season is officially here. From celebrating December birthdays to planning festive outings, there’s plenty to enjoy around our community this month. Our latest featured article is packed with holiday happenings throughout the Apache Junction area. Think of it as your own “Nice List” of local holiday events to check out this month. Take a look and see what makes your list!

QUICK NOTES –
Holbrook Asphalt will be back on Wednesday, December 10 to continue sealing road cracks. Please stay mindful of their crews as they work on the roads.

As we wrap up the year, a quick reminder that HOA Assessment Statements for the January 2026 payment have been sent out. Payments are due January 01, the Accounting Office is always happy to help if you have questions or need assistance reviewing your statement.

December birthdays are at the bottom of this week’s newsletter!

Water Dispensers

Two of our water dispensers are taking an unexpected Christmas vacation. The one on the southwest side of the Phase I courtyard near the Boardroom, and the free-standing dispenser near the Apache Building, are both out of service for now. Repair or replacement options will be reviewed at the upcoming Board Working Session. Stay tuned, stay hydrated, and keep an eye out for any wandering tumbleweeds.

The good news is the water dispenser near the biffy is not a desert mirage, it is working and available for use.

Disposal Of Hazardous Items
Help keep our community safe and clean. Please do not place hazardous items in the dumpsters or leave them out with regular trash.

For things like paints, cleaners, solvents, pesticides, electronics, and batteries, the City of Apache Junction offers safe disposal options. Give them a call and they’ll let you know the proper drop-off location and hours. Thank you for helping us take good care of our community and our shared spaces.

Golf Course Marshals

We don’t currently have a Golf Marshals program, so there are none on the course. If you spot any problems or safety concerns, please give Security a call. Until then, thanks for helping us keep an eye on our little patch of the wild west.

Pool Etiquette & Rules
Our pools have been busy, and we want everyone to enjoy a safe, relaxing dip. Please take a moment to follow the posted pool and spa rules while you’re here.

Children need to follow the age rules on the signs, and all guests should be watched closely. Guest wristbands and resident badges must be worn at the pool so staff and security know who belongs. If the Main Office is closed, no worries, just register your guests with Security.

A quick shower before you swim goes a long way. It keeps the water cleaner, helps with long-term maintenance, and makes the pool more pleasant for everyone.

If you’d like a deeper dive into polite pool behavior, you can read about the importance of showering before entering pools or spas article here.

Club Flyers and Ticket Requests
Is your Roadhaven club planning a fundraiser or special event? If your club needs flyers or tickets, just submit your request through the online form. Sending your request early (at least 30 days before you need it) gives us plenty of time to design, approve, and share your materials so your event gets the attention it deserves. We’re here to help your club shine! Click here if you are a club president, and you’d like to submit a request.

Real Estate And Classified Listings
If you want to post a real estate or classified listing on our website, please use the “Create and Edit Listing” supporting article as a step by step guide.

Please follow this guide first before contacting Sarah in the Main Office. If you still have trouble, you can email Sarah for help.

Main Office and Emergency Contacts
When a resident is transported by EMS, the hospital information is not shared with Security or neighbors. We know this can be stressful for friends and loved ones who are trying to stay informed.

One simple step that truly helps is making sure the Main Office has your current emergency contact on file.

This allows us to reach the right person quickly if something unexpected happens. Thank you for taking a moment to update this important information.

Guest Registration Reminder
We know the holidays bring family, friends, and a lot of joyful activity to the community. To help things go smoothly, please register your guests before December 23 if they’ll be arriving for the holiday period.

Because the office will be closed at times during the holidays, early registration is especially important. It helps Security know who should be in the community and ensures everyone has a safe, welcoming experience.

Thank you for doing your part to keep Roadhaven safe, friendly, and running well during this busy season.
