Roadie’s Desert Dispatch – Hi neighbors, Roadie here with a quick flyover of what’s happening around the Resort. We’ve got an important Town Hall coming up with the Finance Committee as guest speakers, election season officially underway, and a few temporary changes like golf course fertilizing to keep things running smoothly. There are also opportunities to get involved with open committee spots and Hospitality volunteers, plus a reminder to plan ahead for block and street parties. Take a moment to read what’s below so you don’t miss anything taking flight this week. Oh, quick note: The golf course will be close at 2PM today to be fertilized and will reopen 01/31.

HOA Election
Voting opened today at 8AM. Residents registered for electronic voting should check their email for a message from Roadhaven Resort with the subject line 2026 Board of Directors Election.

Paper ballots for residents currently in the Resort will be delivered to mailboxes. For residents who are out of the Resort, ballots will be placed in the outgoing mail bins for pickup by the postal carrier.

Step-by-step ballot walkthrough tutorials for both electronic and paper voting are available on the Elections page under Election Dates and Information.

Voting closes promptly on Monday, March 9, at 3PM. Late ballots will not be accepted.

Committee Volunteers

Roadie’s calling on a few good neighbors. The Finance Committee and Rec Council both have openings for up to two new members. If numbers are your thing, the Finance Committee could really use your financial know-how, and the Rec Council is looking for folks who enjoy helping make our community fun and active.

Hospitality is looking for additional volunteers. Specifically in need of volunteers to help on Thursday late afternoon and Saturday at noon. Shifts are two hours each. In addition, Hospitality is looking for a training coordinator who can transition to a co-chair upon completion of the current chair’s term ending in a year

Do you know someone at Roadhaven who is celebrating a birthday? Give them a shoutout! We won't publish their age or actual birthdate but we would love to recognize their special month. Don't be shy, add your own if you'd like!

Block, Street, and Patio Parties – Woohoo!
Street party season is here. Please be sure to complete the required form to notify Security prior to your event. Thank you to those who have already submitted their forms. One designated person on the street must serve as the event host and is responsible for submitting the form.

The event host is responsible for:

Managing guests and overall conduct
Ensuring at least one lane remains open for emergency vehicles
Managing noise levels and complying with designated quiet hours

As outlined on the form, organizers are also encouraged to be mindful that not all neighbors may wish to participate. Consideration of noise levels and potential disruption is appreciated.
