Welcome Home

Welcome Home for the 2026–2027 Season!

Welcome back to Roadhaven! With swaying palm trees and the beautiful Superstition Mountains as our backdrop, we’re excited to welcome you home for another season of friendship, fun, and laughter.

We've got October events, October birthdays, and so much more packed into this week's newsletter!

Whether you’re enjoying our many amenities, joining your favorite clubs and activities, or catching up with neighbors, we’re so glad you’re here. Thank you for the warmth, kindness, and community spirit you bring to Roadhaven. You make this a special place to call home, and we look forward to making more wonderful memories together!

As you check in for the season, be sure to pick up your 2026–2027 Roadhaven Resident Directory. Inside, you’ll find helpful community information and a Vendor Directory listing advertisers by specialty. We’re grateful to this year’s advertisers, whose advertising paid the full printing cost, allowing us to provide the directory to residents at no charge.

As everyone settles in, please keep these seasonal hours and reminders in mind:

Seasonal Hours

Idaho Gate Winter Hours

Monday and Friday, 7am–7pm, and Tuesday through Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday, 7am–6pm.

Safety Reminder

Pool Safety

For everyone’s safety, children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult in all pool areas, including pools, spas, and the therapy pool in Phase I and Phase II. No exceptions.

Facility Notice

Rec Hall Closure

The Rec Hall will be closed Saturday, October 3, and Sunday, October 4, for cleaning and buffing of the hardwood flooring. Thank you for your patience as we prepare this shared space for the season.

Golf Announcements

The Golf Course remains closed for overseeding, with reopening anticipated on November 2, 2026. Please remain off the course during this closure.

Main Office

Main Office Services

The Main Office is especially busy welcoming and registering returning residents. If you need materials copied, please allow 48 hours for processing.

Need Notary Services?

Due to the increased volume of business in the Main Office, please schedule an appointment in advance if you need notary services. The notary fee is $10 per notary stamp.

Guests & Rentals

Guests Arriving?

Help make their arrival quick and easy by registering your guests ahead of time. Simply complete the digital Guest Registration Form available on the Roadhaven website.

If you have renters coming to Roadhaven, please complete the Owner Rental Authorization Form on the Roadhaven website before their arrival.

Additional Residents

Any additional resident will need to be re-registered in the Main Office. Once registered, they may obtain an updated badge at no cost.

Mailroom

Mailbox Reminder

If you have requested to have your mailbox opened, please allow 24–36 hours for the Mailroom to remove the wooden block. The Mailroom will accept incoming mail even if the wooden block is still in place.

Accounting

Accounting Reminders

To ensure payments made by check are properly applied to your account, please include your unit number and reason for payment in the check’s memo line, specifying Special Assessment, Assessment, or Mailing Labels, as applicable.

If this information is missing, the payment will ONLY be applied to the Quarterly Assessment of $944.00.

Neighbors Giving Back

Summer Coffee & Donuts

For years, Summer Coffee & Donuts has given Roadhaven neighbors a chance to catch up, share a laugh, and enjoy a little time together each week. It’s run entirely by resident volunteers, and we’re especially grateful to Carol Adamski, who has led the group for many years. Thank you, Carol, and everyone who helps keep this tradition going!

This summer, local sponsors were invited to join in and get to know our year-round residents, adding something new to these familiar gatherings.

The volunteers also chose to give $125 to One Way or Another, a subcommittee of the Finance Committee, to support its work within Roadhaven. Thank you to the Summer Coffee & Donuts volunteers for giving their time and giving back to the community. We appreciate all you do to bring neighbors together!

Tracey Jennings here, welcoming you back for another wonderful season at your oasis of fun!

This year’s upcoming concert series has already received an incredible response, and we have a great mix of events for you to enjoy throughout the season.

On a personal note, I’m also caring for a family member at home, a responsibility many of you may know firsthand. My hours and availability will look a little different moving forward, and I appreciate your patience and understanding as I balance these responsibilities.

The Activities Office is tentatively scheduled to open on December 14, 2026.

All planned events will still take place, and tickets will be available for purchase online.

Here’s what’s staying the same:

All concerts, events, dances, Music on the Patio, and Coffee Talk events will go on as planned and scheduled.

You can still sign up for events like Organ Stop Pizza and vendor seminars in the Rec Hall. Just keep your eye on the black racks and sign up sheets will appear closer to the event dates.

Here’s what’s changing:

Dances and Event ticket sales, with the exception of Barleens and our annual Cornhole tournament will be sold online only, no at door ticket sales.

Barleens tickets can be purchased in the Main Office starting Monday, Oct. 12.

Dances and Events can be purchased online starting Monday, Oct. 12.

The free ice and water that was previously advertised will not be available but you can still BYOB and use the drinking fountains and the new commercial ice machine on the west side of the Rec Hall.

The Monday Activities at a Glance newsletter will no longer go out on Mondays but will become a section in the weekly Friday Community Newsletter. Please keep your eye out for a digital room rental form in the near future.

I know change can be difficult but luckily these are small changes with big benefits for the community as well.
