Activities at a Glance

Airmail Challenge
Saturday, March 14 starting at 4pm on the Courtyard Patio. $5 per person. Each player will get (4) bags. You must make at least (1) bag in the hole to move on. The last man or woman standing wins the pot. Winning “pot” starts at $100 and will increase with every player added. Have questions? Stop by the Activities office.

Cash Drag Challenge
Saturday, March 14. $5 per person. $100 will be laid out on the cornhole board. You throw (1) bag. Any amount of money you can “DRAG” into the “hole” you get to keep. You can rebuy once after everyone who wants to participate has an opportunity to throw a bag. Have questions? Stop by the Activities office.

St. Patrick’s Day Parade – Tuesday, March 17. Line up at 12:30pm on E Seneca Drive. The parade will follow the “Christmas Parade Route”. Parade maps available in the Activities Office. Prizes awarded!

The Cornhole Tournament scheduled for Thursday, March 19 currently only has (4) players. If you are interested in participating please sign up in the Activities Office. Tickets are $12 each. The tournament includes Hamburger lunch and cash prizes. New this year – Losers Bracket was added. Spectator lunch $6. Cornhole tickets can be purchased in the Activities Office. The Spectator lunch can ONLY be purchased in the Activities Office.

Roadhaven Resort Scholarships

Roadhaven Resort has provided scholarships to area high school seniors since 1992. February 27 to March 15 the scholarship committee will be taking donations to fund this scholarship which directly goes to the Sunshine Acres College Fund. These donations will assist high school seniors who live at Sunshine Acres in attending college, tech schools and trade schools so they can further their education.

Sunday, March 8 is Scholarship Sunday at the Roadhaven Church at 9 am. In the Rec Hall. There will be speakers from Sunshine Acres who have been blessed by scholarships currently and in the past. Everyone is welcome to attend.

You do not need to attend Roadhaven Church to donate. If you would like to give, please write a check to Roadhaven Church with “scholarship fund” in the memo. It can be placed in the in-park mailbox with Roadhaven church on the envelope. All are welcome to the Scholarship Sunday service where the collection will go to the Scholarship fund for Sunshine Acres. We appreciate your consideration in donating to this worthy cause to help teenagers reach their goals and dreams for their future.

Last Dance of the Season – Friday, March 20

Get ready for a night of great music and dancing in the Rec Hall as Group Therapy takes the stage in the Rec Hall. Enjoy a lively mix of oldies, country favorites, and classic rock hits that will keep the dance floor moving all evening.

Doors open: 6:30pm Dancing: 7:00pm – 10:00pm

Bring your own beverages and snacks. Complimentary water and ice will be provided.
