Friday's Resident Newsletter
There’s always something happening around Roadhaven, especially this time of year. Whether it’s staying informed, getting involved, or just making sure your mail finds its way home, we’ve gathered the latest updates to help make your days a little easier and a lot brighter.

Feeling Sick?
For those of you feeling under the weather, please stay hydrated and take good care of yourself and our staff. Do not enter the Main Office if you are sick. Please use online forms, make payments online or using the night drop box, and stick to phone calls for questions. Your mindfulness of our staff goes a long way and is greatly appreciated.

Pool & Spa Update

Phase II pool and spa are temporarily closed for maintenance and cleaning. Phase I pool and spa remain open and ready for use. We appreciate your patience while we get everything sparkling again.

A Note About Our Wild Neighbor
You may spot a familiar face wandering through Roadhaven, the javelina (peccary). While he may look like Roadhaven’s unofficial pet, or Roadie’s old college roommate, he is most certainly not.

Please do not feed him (or any wildlife). Feeding wild animals can be dangerous for them and for residents, and it encourages them to stick around longer than they should. Admire from a distance and let nature do its thing.

Security has reported that some residents are leaving out cabbage, apples, and water for this javelina. As well-intentioned as it may be, this creates real problems. Javelinas can charge suddenly, putting people and pets at risk. They can also carry diseases, making this unsanitary. Feeding wildlife is also against Arizona state law, with fines up to $300 for violations.

Feeding him also prevents him from leaving the resort and rejoining his squadron, yes, this is what more than one of them are called. He may be interesting to watch, but he is not a friend of Roadie. Please, do not leave food out for wildlife.

DON'T LEAVE FOOD OR WATER OUT FOR ME!

A little behind-the-scenes perspective: the photos included this week show just one delivery going through the mailroom. The mailroom handles nearly 30,000 pieces of incoming mail each month, so that unit number truly makes all the difference in getting items to the right place quickly.

Employee of the Month 🎉
Alfredo’s dedication, positive attitude, and outstanding work ethic have made a tremendous impact on our resort. His positivity never wavered, and his commitment to keeping our grounds beautiful has been nothing short of remarkable.

This summer, Alfredo single-handedly managed the golf course maintenance and preparation for opening. Even when faced with an undependable teammate, and eventually no teammate at all, he continued forward in true Alfredo fashion: steady, hardworking, and upbeat.

Alfredo exemplifies what it means to be a valued member of our team.

Please join us in congratulating Alfredo Aguirre on this well-deserved recognition.
