Resident Newsletter - Jan. 09, 2026
Well hello there, Roadhaven flock! Roadie here. A big thank-you to everyone who joined us at the Town Hall. In this issue, I’ve got election updates, board news, a concert change, and a special shout-out you won’t want to miss. Let’s take a quick fly-through of what’s happening around the nest.
A BIG thank-you to the 432 residents who joined us for the Town Hall, both in person and on Zoom. That’s one of our largest turnouts yet, and this old bird is seriously impressed. Your interest, thoughtful input, and time spent staying informed help keep our community soaring.
If you haven’t already spotted it, be sure to visit the new Elections webpage, where all of this season’s election information is gathered in one easy-to-find place. No flying around required.

Feeling Under the Weather?
If you’re feeling under the weather, please stay cozy at home and reach out by phone or email instead of visiting the office. Illness is spreading quickly and can affect both staff and fellow residents.
Please help keep our nest healthy:
- Avoid common areas if you are sick
- Stay hydrated
- Give yourself time to rest and recover
Your consideration helps protect the whole flock. Thank you.
Changes to Community Donation Services
For many years, Roadhaven Resort partnered with Sunshine Acres to make donating easy with community-wide pick-up services.
With Sunshine Acres now under new ownership, on-site donation pick-up has flown the coop. Going forward, donations will need to be delivered directly to local donation centers.
Thanks for continuing to spread a little kindness around the community.
Stay informed and join the Board for the following:

Employee of the Month
Please join us in celebrating our well-deserved Employee of the Month, Janie Skinner, also known as the one and only Worker Bee.
Janie truly buzzes with positivity every day. Her upbeat attitude, thoughtful suggestions, and willingness to jump in wherever needed help keep our golf operations running smoothly from tee to green.
Although Janie is a seasonal employee, she brings the dedication and pride of a full-time team member. She represents our community with professionalism, kindness, and genuine care.
Always ready to lend a hand, share an idea, or help the day run just a little better, Janie is a shining example of what makes Roadhaven Resort such a special place.
Janie, thank you for being the worker bee we can always count on.
Emergency Contacts & Lock Boxes & Renters, oh my!
When a resident is transported by EMS, hospital information is not shared with Security or neighbors. We understand how stressful this can be for friends and loved ones.
One simple step that truly helps is making sure the Main Office has your current emergency contact on file. This allows us to reach the right person quickly if needed.
Please take a moment to update your information using the link below. It makes a real difference.

Additionally, don’t for get about Lock Boxes. Read this article to learn more about this or fill out this form to submit your lock box code.
Guest Registration Update
Have guests visiting for the day, overnight, or up to 14 days? Roadie wants you to know that guest wristbands are now available at the Golf Shop. Guests should wear their wristbands at all times while enjoying the resort’s common areas. Thanks for helping keep everything running smoothly around the nest.
Renter Registration: Homeowners are asked to remind renters to complete the Renter Registration Form prior to arrival to ensure a smooth check-in
