HAPPY FRIDAY, ROADHAVEN

First things first! We’d like to call your attention to a scam targeting our residents.
Be careful of emails that look like they are from Roadhaven, your friends, or neighbors asking you to buy gift cards to support the Board, the Resort, or Clubs at Roadhaven. Roadhaven management and the Board will never ask you to buy gift cards or send money. Scammers can make emails look real, even if they are fake. They might try to trick or pressure you into buying gift cards—that’s a common scam. If you get an email asking you to buy gift cards, do not reply. Instead, tell the Main Office right away. Stay safe and watch out for scams!

Not a scam – AJ and Arizona Water Departments
You will likely see the AJ and Arizona water departments on site. They may even knock on your door to gain access to areas. They are testing and it is legit. Please allow them to conduct their tests over the next few months.

The remaining Communications Committee meetings have been cancelled. The committee may be reestablished based on need next season. Thank you to those who showed up and participated.

Election ballots were sent out today!
If you signed up for electronic voting, you should have received an email at 9 AM from Roadhaven Resort with the subject “2025 Board of Directors Election.” Check the main email you use for your HOA Portal account, and don’t forget to look in your spam or junk folder if you don’t see it in your inbox. This year, we also added free text message alerts. If your main phone number is a cell, you might get a text reminder too.

Uh Oh! Typo…
The electronic ballot will show Claudia Mescher’s last name as “Mewscher”. Claudia is not a cat – but we are human. Our sincerest apologies to Claudia Mescher. The ballot is still valid.

If you are voting by paper ballot please mail them with enough time for shipping and processing.
Ballots must be received by Monday, March 17, 3pm – NO EXCEPTIONS

PHOENIX INTERNET UPDATE

You may have received an email from Phoenix Internet Services. This email is legitimate and will be followed up with a phone call as their service date approaches.

Phoenix Internet has added new equipment to the 3 broadcast locations in Roadhaven that will balance the load and provide better service to their Roadhaven customers. The original equipment will remain up, and the new equipment has been installed to bolster the demand for bandwidth during peak usage times.

Their Support department is sending out notices to some residents so they can update the equipment on their homes which will correspond with the new equipment on the broadcast locations.

GOLF UPDATES

Our Golf Course is very busy this time of year! Last-minute tee times are getting harder to find, so try to book yours a day or two in advance to get the time you want.

To help us stay on schedule, please have your whole group check in at the Golf Shop at least 10 minutes before your tee time. If you need to pay or rent equipment, arrive even earlier. If you’re ready and checked in, we might even get you out a little early!

Remember to play “ready golf.” Tee times are set every 7–8 minutes, and a group of four should finish 9 holes in about an hour. We want everyone to enjoy the course, so please keep the game moving. Our volunteer Marshals are here to help with that.

Wear your ID badge at all times.
If you’re golfing after hours, please use the honor system. Members, fill out a slip; non-members, place payment in an envelope. Both go into the slot in the Golf Shop door. It’s important for us to track all rounds played as it is required by the State of Arizona for all golf courses.
Thanks for helping us keep the course running smoothly!

FROM THE MAIN OFFICE

The Lost and Found in the Main Office is holding a couple of jackets. If you’ve misplaced an item, check in with the Main Office as soon as possible. Remember, they will donate any unclaimed items after 30 days.
