🤝 Interested in being a Board Member? The deadline to apply for two positions opening in this year’s election is Friday, January 3, 2025. Visit Sarah Lindsay in the Main Office for more information, including how to contact the Nominations & Elections Committee and apply.

🛒 Do you have Costco purchases to make? As courtesy, the Main Office has a Costco card you may check out for savings! Bring your name badge, and return the card on the same day.

🚚 We have changes to a couple events:

Starting this coming Tuesday, December 17, the hours for the Handlebar Pub & Grill food truck from Tuesdays to Fridays will now be 12-5pm. Thank you for sending us your feedback!
There will be no Bingo on Mondays, December 23 and 30. Our last Bingo for the year is this Monday, December 16, and we resume the fun on January 6!

Report Landscape Issues

For any issue with existing landscape on the golf course or common areas, including trees that need trimming, report them to the Main Office instead of addressing them yourself. It is our job to work with our Maintenance team to regularly account and care for our planted landscape and trees. DO NOT cut trees down, remove any plants, or conduct any Maintenance work. We appreciate your communication and cooperation!

Fire Station 264 will host a Firefighter Pancake Breakfast tomorrow Saturday, December 14, 7-11am. With a $5 suggested donation per plate, we can help local families this holiday season!
Also tomorrow Saturday is the Roadhaven Marketplace! This is a great opportunity to buy, sell, trade, or give away items. The event begins at 9am in the Rec Hall until 12:30pm. Come by and purchase books from western author, Mark L. Redmond, and check out dozens of vendors. We will have coffee and donuts for purchase with a food truck on site.

We Need Hospitality Volunteers!

Starting January, we are expanding our hours of operations to Monday to Saturday, 10:00am to 4:00pm. We are looking for volunteers who can work two-hour shifts once a week or sub as needed, answering questions and showing guests the benefits of Roadhaven. We provide easy training and aim to have some fun sharing Roadhaven to our future neighbors! Complete the Hospitality and Information Volunteer Form to sign up, or contact Lisa Jackels (320-224-9962) or Michelle Morrison (320-291-9169) for more information.

Golf Updates

We anticipate our golf course to continue getting busier after the new year, so be sure to schedule tee times through our Golf Shop Office in advance, either in person or by phone at 480-982-4653. We cannot always guarantee open spots are available for drop-ins. We also want to remind everyone that you should:

Let us know if you would like to golf all 18 holes when scheduling your tee times.
Limit your groups to 4 players, unless it’s league or special event shotgun.
Wear your ID badges at all times outside your home, including the golf course.
Check in with our Golf Shop Office prior to tee-off.
Begin all rounds on Hole # 1.
Complete each hole within 7-8 minutes, as tee times are scheduled according to that time frame.
Mark your scorecard the following hole to keep everyone’s tee times running as scheduled.
Be considerate of others so we can all enjoy the course!

It is mandatory for residents and non-members to use the honor system if golfing after hours or the Golf Shop is closed. Slips of paper for residents and payment envelopes for non-members are available in the mailboxes outside the east side of the Golf Shop and must be completed and placed into the Shop’s door slot. Roadhaven is required to report the number of rounds played on our course each year.

Please note: The Golf Shop Office will be CLOSED on Christmas Day. Continue the honor system.

Connect with Dear Roadie

Property owners – use the button below to join my Dear Roadie Facebook Group. Currently, there are over 500 members! It might take a day or two to get you checked in but all owners will be accepted.

If you are a renter, you can still view all of my letters on my web page.

If you would like to submit your Dear Roadie letter, use the form on my page (roadhaven.com/roadie). When using the form, authors stay anonymous, and I will respond as soon as I have the facts lined up. It takes time to gather data from CC&Rs, Rules and Regulations, Meeting Minutes, old Newsletters, and various departments, management, and members of the Board or Committees when needed. This process allows me to provide you with accurate information and facts.

From the Main Office

If you email our Main Office for printing, it may take us up to 24 hours to process your requests. If you need to print sooner, you can visit the Main Office where you can use our computer and printer at 15 cents per page. You can also join the Computer Club who provides members with access to printers, scanners, and classes for $20 for the season.

If your renter has canceled their Roadhaven stay, please notify the Main Office so we can update your records.

You will have your gate fob with you.
You want to check-in online.
You are renting your property.
You lost an item.
