RESIDENT NEWSLETTER
PUBLISHED ON FRI. NOVEMBER 08, 2024
HAPPY FRIDAY, ROADHAVEN
This week, we have exciting updates about food service, involvement opportunities, and pool temperature information!
But before we dive in…
If you receive packages via FedEx and need to update your address, do not use Fedex.com. Updating your address using fedex.com affects everyone in the resort who receives packages via FedEx. Please update your address with the sender before the item is shipped. If you must update through FedEx, please call their call center and do not update your address using the FedEx website.
🚮 Please do not leave any more plastic bags in the Apache Building.
The Mats for Homeless group is no longer active, so there isn’t a need for the bags.
Roadhaven’s offices will be closed on Monday, Nov. 11, in observance of Veterans Day.
Thank you to all our residents who have served.
Please note: Resident Newsletters will be housed on the Resident News page this season.Â
Starting this week...
🎯 Bingo returns every Monday, starting this Monday, Nov. 11 in the Rec Hall!
Doors open at 6PM, with the game starting at 7PM. Bingo is open to the public to anyone over the age of 18. Bring your friends and family. (Image)
Let’s support our local food trucks! We will soon welcome Handlebar Pub & Grill food truck, which will offer daily specials for purchase, Tuesdays through Fridays from 11AM – 4PM, near the Aztec Building (Restaurant) and Golf Pro Shop. Monday food trucks will still be on-site. Be sure to see who’s coming next on the Activities page.Â
Water Results
All three water machines were tested.
Today, management tested the water out of all three water machines. The tests came back with all ranges being normal. The water is hard. It is also filtered an additional two times by the resort, twice a month. If you have discolored or weird tasting or smelling water, please come into the Main Office and we will tell you which of the two water companies services your address.
Curious about why temperatures differ between our pools? Our goal is to ensure our facilities remain accessible and enjoyable for all residents, with varied pool temperatures depending on recreational needs:
We keep the Phase I Pool warmer at 92°F to provide a comfortable therapeutic environment for residents looking for a relaxing experience, wanting to perform low-impact exercises such as water aerobics, or seeking joint and muscle relief.
We consistently maintain the Phase II Pool at a cooler 83°F for lap use, preventing swimmers from overheating during higher-intensity exercise and creating a more refreshing workout experience.Â
Get Involved!
On Tuesday, November 12, we will hold our first meetings for the Restaurant Ad Hoc (1-2PM) and Communications Committees (2-3PM) in the Yuma Room. With no required commitment, we invite anyone interested in learning more about their purposes and goals and sharing input.
Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is now hosting open office hours on Wednesdays from 8-10AM in the Boardroom. Roadhaven’s CFO and Management will also be present for questions and discussions.Â
Did you know that homeowners can attend Working Session meetings with Board members and management? Working Session discussions include agenda items and topics for upcoming Open Board meetings and allow homeowners to share feedback during Open Forum.

Dear Roadie,
We use to be able to see how many residents were in the park. It was usually in the residents news letter. Is it not available or am I just not looking in the right spot.
Sincerely,Â
Ab Serving
