HAPPY FRIDAY, ROADHAVEN

Here we are, Roadhaven—at the close of another incredible season!

When Roadhaven was first established over 42 years ago, the pioneers who broke ground could never have imagined the thriving, welcoming community that would grow from their foundation. Over the years, we’ve laughed with our neighbors, shared in their joys and sorrows, and enjoyed some truly unforgettable concerts. The resilience of a Roadie is what makes this place so special.

We are already planning your next season at Roadhaven and look forward to seeing you all very soon!

End of Season Party
For those of you who are still at Roadhaven, be sure to join us for our End of Season Party tomorrow at 4:30pm in the Bell Tower Courtyard. Enjoy live music and help us celebrate another fantastic season at Roadhaven. Sponsored by: ArchWell Health, Gold Kidney Health Plan, Waste Connections, and Semper Fi Heating and Cooling.

Wrapping Up a Fantastic Season at Roadhaven

As the 2024-2025 season comes to a close, I want to personally thank each of you for your dedication to making Roadhaven a stronger, more vibrant community. It has been truly inspiring to see so many residents get involved—whether by attending committee meetings, sharing ideas, or participating in discussions that help shape our future. Your engagement ensures that every voice is heard and valued.

This season, we also reached an exciting milestone—our highest voter turnout yet! Your commitment to the election process reflects our shared dedication to keeping Roadhaven a thriving, inclusive, and forward-thinking community. Additionally, I’m proud of the strides we’ve made toward greater financial transparency, making it easier for residents to stay informed and engaged in the budgeting process. Your input and involvement have been invaluable in these efforts.

As we head into the summer months, I wish you all a season filled with relaxation, adventure, and cherished moments with family and friends. Whether you’re traveling or staying close to home, I hope your time away is safe and enjoyable.

Thank you for making this season such a success—I look forward to welcoming you back next season, refreshed and ready for another great time at Roadhaven!

Safe travels, and see you soon!

Sherri Stewart
Board President

PALM TREE MAINTENANCE NOTICE (MAY-JUNE)

Resident To-Do List:
Please move anything away from the base of palm trees before work starts. If items are left behind, we will try to move or cover them. While work is happening, that part of the road will be closed. If you need to get through, ask a crew member in uniform for help. Stay out of the work area—falling palm fronds are very dangerous! If you have any questions, contact the Roadhaven Main Office at 480-982-4811.

Project Timeline:
We plan to finish in about 3 weeks. Pruning happens after the palms make seeds but before they start dropping. This usually takes place from mid-May to June.

Why Do We Trim Palm Trees?
Pruning helps keep trees safe, healthy, and looking nice. Old, dry fronds can catch fire easily and make trimming dangerous. However, over-pruning is bad too! Trees need enough fronds to stay strong and healthy.

Why Roadhaven Chose Integrated Landscape Management (ILM):
Roadhaven trusts Integrated Landscape Management (ILM) to do this important work. ILM has been keeping landscapes safe and beautiful since 2001. Their tree crews have years of experience, and every job is supervised by a certified arborist.

ILM follows these values:

Quality – They understand what customers need and always aim to do their best.
Integrity – They are honest, hardworking, and committed to doing the right thing.
Communication – They build strong, long-term relationships with customers.

With ILM’s expert team, we know our palm trees, and our community, are in good hands!

GOLF UPDATES

Important notice: Please return any rented flags to the Golf Shop before the end of the season.

We’re excited to announce a 20% off sale on all Golf Shop merchandise, such as shirts, hats, visors, and bangers to make room for fresh new styles next season, including requested Ladies’ XXLs!

Our Golf Course is very busy this time of year! Last-minute tee times are getting harder to find, so try to book yours a day or two in advance to get the time you want.

To help us stay on schedule, please have your whole group check in at the Golf Shop at least 10 minutes before your tee time. If you need to pay or rent equipment, arrive even earlier. If you’re ready and checked in, we might even get you out a little early!

Remember to play “ready golf.” Tee times are set every 7–8 minutes, and a group of four should finish 9 holes in about an hour. We want everyone to enjoy the course, so please keep the game moving. Our volunteer Marshals are here to help with that.

Wear your ID badge at all times.
If you’re golfing after hours, please use the honor system. Members, fill out a slip; non-members, place payment in an envelope. Both go into the slot in the Golf Shop door. It’s important for us to track all rounds played as it is required by the State of Arizona for all golf courses. Thank you for helping us keep the course running smoothly!

Join our Golf Shop Team! We’re always looking for passionate individuals with strong customer service skills and a love for golf! We are excited to open the application process for next season with possible early training this season for remaining coverage needs.

To apply: Submit your completed application and resume to Gina Gulla (accounting@roadhaven.com) in the Main Office.

Click on the box above to go to the Golf page.

FROM THE MAIN OFFICE

As our peak season wraps up, our Main Office will remain busy. We ask everyone to plan ahead.

Remember to update your information and listings before you go. Check the Homeowner Directory on the HOA Portal. If changes are needed to your information, complete the Information Change Request Form no later than May 30. Otherwise, it will list as it currently appears for the 2025-26 Printed Directory. No action is required if your details are correct. Contact Sarah Lindsay at board@roadhaven.com if you have questions.

A limited supply of the 2024-25 Printed Directory remains available at the Main Office. Everyone is welcome to take one on a first-come, first-served basis before you travel for the summer.

Order mail forwarding labels before you leave Roadhaven! You can order them through our Mailing Labels Request Form.
