LET'S HAVE SOME FUN, ROADHAVEN

Happy St. Patrick’s Day – we feel lucky to have the community we have here at Roadhaven!

The Fitness Club is disappointed they had to cancel their Walk Around the Park event due to forecasted weather this last Saturday. They expect to reschedule the event for next fall.

Thank you for generously supporting this year’s Scholarship Fund! With your donations, one Apache Junction High School Student, along with five others from the Sunshine Acres Children’s Home, can continue their education after high school! On behalf of these students and the Roadhaven Scholarship Committee (Brenda Van Den Berg, Diana Fishel, George Wallin, and Linda Katke), we greatly appreciate your contributions!

While there is no St. Patrick’s Day Parade today as in previous years, we can still celebrate through Live Music on the Patio, 2-4pm, featuring Breaking Wind! There is also another Live Music on the Patio this Wednesday, featuring Audrey Hicks Band!

We need two-person teams ASAP for our 3rd Annual Cornhole Tournament this Thursday, March 20 (Sponsored by Itz Realty).
$10 per person, which includes tournament participation, lunch, and cash prizes for 1st and 2nd place winners! Tickets on sale now in the Activities Office.

Join us in celebrating the life of William “Bill” Kramer on Saturday, March 22.
We will hold Happy Hour at the Aztec Building from 1-4pm and encourage everyone to bring appetizers to share and your favorite beverages.

Try your luck at Bingo Bonanza, Friday, March 28 (Sponsored by Itz Realty, Clear Title Agency of Arizona, and Guild Mortgage)!
The game runs 2-4pm in the Rec Hall. $35 tickets per person are on sale now at the Activities Office. Ticket price covers 10 Bingo Games, Early Bird Special, Betty Boop Special, Door Prize Raffle, Hot Dog Station, Chips, Cookies, Candy, Ice Cream, and Beverages!

Plan ahead for these Activities Office closures:

Friday, March 28 – We will close at 11:30am.
Wednesday, April 2 – We are closed the entire day.
